September 21: Semi-finals
The semi-finals games started at Graves-Oakley field at noon with the Wildcats, the 2nd place team facing off against the Cardinals, the 3rd place team. It started as a close game, and the Cardinals found their footing in the 5th inning to grab the lead over the Wildcats and continue that momentum into a win to play for the gold medal, the Wildcats play for bronze.
The next game was played at Lenihan field at 6:00pm between the Renegades, the 1st place team, and the Blue Jays, the 4th place team. The Renegades came out ahead to play for the gold medal, sending the Blue Jays to play for bronze.
September 29: Finals
Playing in the first game of the day for bronze, the Wildcats and Blue Jays played each other. Both teams fought hard and the Blue Jays beat the Wildcats by 1 run.
The Cardinals fought against the Renegades in the gold medal game. In the end, after an impressive season where the Renegades played hard and went undefeated for the entire season, they finished strong with a first place win and a gold medal.
